Caregiver Support Services

When children express gender expansive behavior and/or identify as trans or non-binary, it can be very confusing and sometimes painful to parents, caregivers, and extended family members. Unsure of how to respond to a child’s gender non-conforming behavior or expression, families often end up arguing with one another, and feeling frightened for their child. At Choices, we are committed to providing information, education, and most of all support for parents and other family members. We can also provide help addressing school-related concerns, including but not limited to coming out, name/pronoun usage, and bathroom/locker room issues.
