Trans-Health Services
Trans-health refers to both trans-medicine (hormones and surgery) as well as access to competent mental health services. Unfortunately, many therapists have had no training in trans-affirming health care, forcing trans people to educate their therapists when they are most in need of support. At Choices, we are trained and experienced in trans-health, and many of our providers are Certified through WPATH GEI* and can provide counseling for gender dysphoria, coming out, accessing resources, medical referrals, or pursuing gender transition.
