Eva is an empathic, motivating, and flexible clinician with excellent engagement skills who develops strong therapeutic alliances with adults, children, adolescents, and families. Eva is an experienced professional with two decades of experience providing direct support, training and education, and developing specialized programs and services for LGBTQ+ youth, young adults, and trauma survivors.  

Eva is a Licensed Master Social worker who received her MSW from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Services. She has 16 years of experience engaging adults, children, adolescents, and families through counseling, advocacy, education, and social service program management. She specializes in working with teens and adults struggling with anxiety and depression, trauma survivors, those impacted by relationship and family abuse, and LGBTQ+ adolescents. Eva’s years of experience have offered her opportunities to work one-on-one with individuals, families, and groups.

Eva is a kind and warm clinician who believes in the power of forging safe, empathic connections with her clients. These relationships based in respect, trust, valuing and care, help pattern future relationships, be they with family, friends, peer groups, or partners. Grounded in strengths-based, positive youth development, trauma-informed care, Eva utilizes various modalities to best meet the needs and goals of those she works with. 

Eva is also a certified yoga teacher and believes strongly in the healing power of the breath and knows our bodies have infinite ways to hold our pain, our fear, our disconnections, and our past traumas. Because of this, she feels keenly the importance of listening to and connecting with one’s body, mind and spirit. Her goal and hope when working with clients is that they feel seen, heard and valued for who they are now, who they have been, and who they want to be.
