Choices Counseling and Consulting has been serving the Capital District community since 1986. Choices is under the clinical directorship of Arlene Istar Lev, LCSW-R, CASAC, providing individual, couple, family and group counseling. Choices Counseling and Consulting offers counseling services for a variety of psychological and emotional needs for women and men, children and adolescents.

The staff at Choices are trained in numerous psychotherapeutic skills, including family systems therapy.  Staff have also received specialized training in issues related to relationships, sexuality, sexual orientation and gender identity & expression.  All clinicians support feminist, client-centered, and empowerment-based models of care. We offer numerous payments options to make therapy affordable.
